Originally from Taiwan, Jenny has been a funeral counselor in Chinese Community for over twenty five years and has been at Grant Miller-John Cox Mortuary since 2005. She enjoys traveling and gourmet cooking.

Leslie Hodgkin

Leslie has been an Alameda community volunteer for over 15 years. She is currently active with Alameda Kiwanis Club, Alameda Citizens Police (COPPS) and Christ Episcopal Church. Past volunteer activities include Alameda Hospital, Alameda Meals on Wheels & Friendly Visitors, American Red Cross and Alameda Food Bank.

She is a Bay Area native, although she lived in Tucson, Arizona and southern California for her younger years. Her education includes a B.A. in anthropology from University of California, Irvine and a certificate in musical instrument repair from Orange Coast College. She was an accomplished French horn player for many years. In 1985, she moved back to the Bay Area for a career in commercial property management and accounting. She was married for 18 years and lost her husband to cancer in 2006.

Leslie’s interests include trading equities and futures, classical music, travelling, camping and fishing, and helping people.
