Catherine “Kay” Remotto Resident of Oakland Passed away Dec.26, 2017 in Sacramento at the age of 98 years. Preceded in death by her husband William Victor Remotto; Loving mother of Cathy Van Slack (Tom), Teresa Donovan(Terry) and Philip Remotto (Gale). Cherish grandmother to Sandra and Robin Van Slack, Katie, Luke(fiancé Audrey) Marc Donovan, Zach and Adam Remotto. Sister-in-law to Polly Walton. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. "Kay" was a long time member of St. Theresa's Parish. Retiree of Del Monte Foods, a bowler and golfer. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial Mass will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 11:00 at St. Theresa's Church in Oakland, private interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Oakland.
