Harry Dobbins was born in Oakland, California October 25, 1941 and died in Sacramento December 20, 2021. He is pre-deceased predeceased by his parents Harold and Marguerite Dobbins and by his brother Phillip Dobbins. He is survived by his son Ernest Dobbins Johnson, Ernest’s mother Sylvia Johnson, and daughter-in-law Tri Hoang; three sisters (Eleanor Schooley, Kate Dobbins, Virginia Dobbins), sister-in-law Rolly Dobbins, and brother-in-law David Schooley; six nieces, nephews, and their spouses; nine grand nieces and nephews. Harry graduated Bishop O’Down High School in 1959 and San Francisco State in 1972 with a BS in Science & Engineering. From 1959 to1963 he served as a US Marine. Harry built a career as a locksmith and entrepreneur. In the 1970s he owned Wholesale Distributers (Oakland), renaming it Capitol Lock Supply when he moved to Sacramento in the 1980s. He specialized in security key systems and providing locksmith supplies. Uncle Harry was kind, generous, and devoted to his family. He had quite a sense of humor, and his presence brightened our lives. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church (Oakland), followed by 1:00 p.m. burial at Holy Sepulchure Cemetery (Hayward).
