Louis Alvarez

Born to Jose and Francisca Alvarez on September 5th, 1945 and took his final rest on June 17th, 2018.

Born, lived, and passed in Oakland, CA. He is survived by his two brothers Ernesto and Miguel Alvarez, sons Martin A and David A Alvarez, and his grandson Nathaniel Alvarez. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raul G Alvarez. A paint mixer for many years and dedicated employee of Montgomery Ward until its closure, he was able to retire and spend his last years as he wanted. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 28th at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Oakland. A reception will follow.
