Michelle graduated from Mount Hood Community College in 2014, earning her degree in Funeral Service. Her career has taken her from Portland to Monterey to Sacramento, and now to Alameda.

Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband Zach and their cat Mackers, traveling, and music.

Leslie has been an Alameda community volunteer for over 15 years. She is currently active with Alameda Kiwanis Club, Alameda Citizens Police (COPPS) and Christ Episcopal Church. Past volunteer activities include Alameda Hospital, Alameda Meals on Wheels & Friendly Visitors, American Red Cross and Alameda Food Bank.

She is a Bay Area native, although she lived in Tucson, Arizona and southern California for her younger years. Her education includes a B.A. in anthropology from University of California, Irvine and a certificate in musical instrument repair from Orange Coast College. She was an accomplished French horn player for many years. In 1985, she moved back to the Bay Area for a career in commercial property management and accounting. She was married for 18 years and lost her husband to cancer in 2006.

Leslie’s interests include trading equities and futures, classical music, travelling, camping and fishing, and helping people.
